We offer special thanks to Craig Contofalsky, Lori Taylor and Chris Halvorson for providing these (and many more) photos of our Field Nationals' events.
Airedales & owners eagerly await for the day to begin.
Many thanks to Lori Taylor,
for capturing our events' photos.

For 32+ years, meeting, greeting & excitement fills the air for all who attend our events!
Every year, HWA holds events where we can join together for weekends filled with fun,
learning and camaraderie.
... and someone will help you come out!
NEW EXPERIENCES, TRUST
~ and great bonding
with your Airedale ~
Rolling fields, ample space, two ponds, a clubhouse and down-home hospitality - provided by owner Dean Hatfield (pictured at right) and his family. Their ideal venue has welcomed us for many HWA events over the years.
Every HWA Nationals' event has a story to tell… and the same held true at our 31st Field Nationals, held in Sept. 2016.
At all of HWA's events, we recall with
pleasure the great work accomplished
by attending Airedales & their handlers,
as well as remembering those who came
to have fun, observe, learn & just have
new experiences with their dogs.

HWA events provide a wonderful experience for Airedales ~ both
young & "old" – from "newbies" to seasoned hunters ~ and their
owners, too! It's all about gathering together. The dogs teach us so much, and everyone learns, laughs, & has fun!
It's just a pond - and it's OK to go in!

The weekend began on Friday, Sept. 8th, 2017 with an ATCA Fur Test, and continued with our traditional Barkathon fun event, and a Hunting Instinct Test for pups – plus a workshop for beginners.
Two new ATCA Master Hunter Fur titles were earned at our first day of the HWA Nationals, too!
We hope you'll enjoy these few shots from day 1.
One of our club's consistent refrains is: “Make new friends, and keep the old”,
Newcomers & "first-timers" all receive a warm welcome from our members at every HWA event.
AND, WE LOOK BACK TO SUMMER 2016…
Some of us were fortunate to participate in Bridget Bodine's Retriever Seminar that included intense training – making it possible for each dog/handler team to learn & get a lot of individual attention.
